The White House Restoration Project

This is the White House, as seen in the 1920's.

The photographs below show the huge effort required to bring this

wonderful home back to the special place that it was meant to be.

Starting in 2018, the restoration project involved a complete

reworking of the home and it's major systems including:

  • Complete new electrical system & wiring
  • All plumbing replaced
  • New heating and air conditioning upstairs and down
  • Completely new roof
  • Renovation of kitchen and service areas
  • Restoration all interior rooms including repair and replacement of plaster walls and molding in downstairs rooms maintaining original reveals
  • Addition of exterior railings designed to match fine detail of balcony over front entrance
  • New elegant oversized white porcelain tile floors and refinished original white oak flooring
  • Beautiful period furniture selected and lighting fixtures
  • Too many other wonderful enhancements to mention - just call for a tour or come for afternoon tea!

Special thanks to the whole team that brought this project to life. The hours of energy, creativity, hard work and perseverance are appreciated by so many people that will enjoy this special gathering place for the next 100 years!
